After Turkish pilots were freed in Beirut, "Turkish Airlines" resumed flights to Lebanon, Anadolu agency reported today.

According to the agency, two Turkish pilots, kidnapped in Lebanon, were freed on October 19 and transferred to the intelligence agencies of this country.

Lebanese an- Nahar newspaper previously reported that pilots kidnapped in Lebanon in August 2013 were taken to an unknown destination after the Lebanese police found their whereabouts.

It was discovered that the two pilots were in a house in the Dahyeh district of Beirut.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Lebanese authorities were also involved in the release of the Turkish pilots.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul said that Turkey hopes for Iran's aid in the return of the Turkish pilots kidnapped in Lebanon.
