Eight reference books on minerals will be published in Kazakhstan, chairman of the Geology and Subsoil Committee under the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Bazarbay Nurabayev said at a press conference in Astana on Feb. 4.
"We intend to hold the weeks of minerals by publishing the appropriate reference books from February 14," he said. "We intend to publish eight reference books on minerals this year."
"Week of gold", which will bring together scholars and subsoil users, will be held in Kazakhstan for the first time.
