The tariff for the transportation of Russian oil to China through Kazakhstan is approved at $9.8 per metric ton excluding VAT

The tariff for the transportation of Russian oil to China through Kazakhstan is approved at $9.8 per metric ton excluding VAT, the Kazakh KazTransOil said Nov.6.

This follows from the order of the Chairman of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.

This rate will be applied to the transportation of oil from the Russian border to the border of Kazakhstan (Priirtyshsk) - Atasu (Kazakhstan) - Alashankou (China), including the border of Russia - Kazakh border (Priirtyshsk) - Atasu (Kazakhstan), including oil transshipment on the main Atasu pumping station with a cost for transportation worth $2.63 per metric ton and on site Atasu (Kazakhstan) - Alashankou (China) - $7.17 per metric ton.

KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline. The company operates a network of trunk pipelines stretching over 5,000 kilometers and the water pipelines stretching over 2,000 kilometers, provides jobs for more than 8,000 people.
