Uzbekistan's foreign trade surplus increased by 3.9 times in 2015, compared to 2014 and stood at $453 million, a source in the government circles told Trend.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover totaled $25.283 billion, while its export and import stood at $12.868 billion and $12.415 billion, respectively, in 2015, according to the source.
This is while the country's foreign trade turnover stood at $28.054 billion, its export and import stood at $14.084 billion and $13.97 billion, respectively, in 2014. The foreign trade surplus totalled $114 million.
Thus, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover decreased by 9.9 percent in 2015, while its export and import dropped by 8.6 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively.
