Azerbaijan's DemirBank JSC has named Farid Abushov as the new board head, the bank told Trend Apr.20.
Earlier, Abushov served as first deputy head of the board at DemirBank.
He has been working at DemirBank since 2007.
Abushov replaced Roman Amirjanov on this post. However, Amirjanov will continue to work at DemirBank's Supervisory Board.
DemirBank, the first commercial bank of Azerbaijan, started to operate in 1989.
Such major international financial organizations as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Netherlands Development Finance Company are among its shareholders.
