Rufat Mammadov, head of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), has been re-elected as vice president of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry said Nov. 28.
This decision was made in a meeting of WAIPA General Assembly and the 22nd Annual WAIPA World Investment Conference, held Nov. 27-28 in Dubai.
WAIPA is a non-governmental organization founded in 1995 in Geneva under Swiss law. The number of its members is constantly growing and it currently includes 170 agencies from 130 countries.
