Participants of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (TITR) International Association, an association of legal entities, signed the final protocol of the TITR General Meeting in Baku on May 8.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Javid Gurbanov, Director General of Georgian Railways JSC David Peradze, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Railways Kanat Alpysbaev, Head of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company Rauf Valiyev, the Aktau International Sea Port's Commercial and Administrative Manager Martin Voetmann, Head of the Baku International Sea Trade Port Taleh Ziyadov, Deputy Director General of the Batumi Sea Port Ilyas Mukatov, Director General of the Turkish Railways (TCDD) Veisi Kurt and Head of the Ukrainian Railways PJSC Evgeny Kravtsov undersigned the document.

Tariffs for transportation of coal and grain were approved under the protocol. In addition, two new members were admitted to the TITR Association: the Anaklia Development Consortium (Georgia) and the KazMorTransFlot National Maritime Shipping Company (Kazakhstan).

In addition, Kravtsov was approved as a member of the Board of the Association.

Under the document, the TITR International Association was tasked to ensure the cargo transportation in the volume of four million tons approved for 2018, including container transportation in the amount of 15,000 TEU (or 75,000 tons).

Meanwhile, the planned volumes which were underfulfilled in the three months of 2018 will be redistributed before the end of this year.

The protocol reads that at the next meeting a working group will consider setting a general delivery time along the Chengdu (China) - Lodz (Poland) route and cost of transporting a 40-foot container at the rate of $0.5 per container-kilometer on the whole transportation route.
