Agricultural enterprises of Uzbekistan and South Korea will hold business meetings in Seoul on June 3-4, 2018 to discuss cooperation in the agricultural sector, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan stated.
Reportedly, an Uzbek-Korean business forum will be held in the capital of South Korea jointly organized by the agriculture ministries of the two countries.
The event will be attended by companies working in the field of processing agricultural products, production of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as in creating infrastructure for agroindustry.
Uzbekistan is currently the main trade partner of South Korea among the countries of Central Asia. More than half of South Korea's trade with the countries of the region falls on the share of Uzbekistan.
Currently, more than 460 enterprises with participation of Korean capital operate in Uzbekistan (386 joint ventures and 75 enterprises with full Korean capital).
Representative offices of 75 South Korean companies are also accredited in the republic.
