Azerbaijan’s bank increases assets

The assets of Bank BTB operating in Azerbaijan grew 12.7 percent since early 2018 and amounted to 299.45 million manats as of late June, according to the bank’s balance sheet for the first half of the year, published on the website of the Electronic System for Information Disclosure (ESID).

During the reporting period, the bank’s loan portfolio amounted to 164.59 million manats, which is a 15.7 percent increase compared to the beginning of 2018. There were 34.29 million manats on the correspondent accounts of the bank, while investments in securities amounted to 2.48 million manats.

The liabilities of the bank in the reporting period amounted to 243.92 million manats, which is 13.8 percent more than at the beginning of the year. In the structure of liabilities, the main share accounted for the deposit portfolio of the bank - 43.9 percent, or 106.96 million manats, given a 7.9 percent growth since the beginning of the year. Since early 2018, the bank slightly reduced its liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, bringing them to 26.19 million manats.

The Bank BTB completed the first half of the year with a profit of 1.05 million manats.

During the reporting period, the authorized capital of the bank remained unchanged at the level of 66.45 million manats. The bank’s aggregate capital amounted to 55.22 million manats.

Bank BTB has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2010.
