In the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) licenses issued for the creation of industrial facilities increased by 31 percent in Iran's Qazvin province, Ali Porzahmat, head of Qazvin Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization said in an interview with Iran.
Porzahmat noted that in the reported period, the issuance of investment licenses increased by 92 percent compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year.
Porzahmat added that the number of the production facilities operated in the province during the reported period reached 3,952.
He went on adding that 39 percent of the above mentioned facilities were located in the province's Alborz county. Other counties, namely Takestan, Qazvin, Abyek and Buin Zahra accounted for 23, 19, 17 and 2 percent of the facilities, respectively.
