By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

By the end of 2018, the production of Nakhchivan salt may exceed 6,000 tons, Anar Asadullayev, director of Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd., told Trend.

Asadullayev noted that this figure will increase by 500 tons in comparison with 2017.

"This is not a big difference in production volumes, given that last year the production volumes did not exceed 6,000 tons of salt. This year, these volumes could be 7,000 tons. But due to the fact that for a number of reasons the production process had to be stopped, production volumes for the current year will not exceed 6,500 tons," Asadullayev said.

He noted that the company plans to increase this figure to 7,000 tons of salt in 2019.

The company produces table and industrial salt.

The company's products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, as well as a hygiene certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry.

Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd. operates modern equipment made in Russia, Turkey and Iran.
