In November 2018, Turkey's imports amounted to $16.137 billion, having decreased by 21.47 percent compared to November 2017, Ministry of Trade told Trend Dec. 7.
"In November 2018, Turkey imported mineral fuel worth $3.410 billion, equipment and machinery worth $1.953 billion, electrical goods worth $1.231 billion, steel and cast iron materials worth $1.207 billion and vehicles for $975 million. The rest of the imports, $7.361 billion, accounted for other types of goods," the ministry said.
The ministry added that in November 2018, Turkey’s exports amounted to $15.532 billion, which is 9.49 percent more compared to November 2017.
"In November 2018, Turkey exported vehicles worth $2.430 billion, equipment and machinery worth $1.485 billion, iron and cast-iron materials worth $1.249 billion, electrical goods worth $857 million and textiles worth $809 million. The remaining $8.702 billion accounted to other types of goods," the ministry said.
The ministry added that in November 2018, Turkey’s trade turnover amounted to $31.668 billion, which is 8.83 percent less compared to November 2017.
