New mill in Kazakhstan to produce highest grade flour

During a national teleconference in Kazakhstan with the participation of the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev, a flour mill was launched in Atyrau, Trend reports citing the Kazakh media.

The project worth 4.4 billion tenge will produce up to 55,000 tons of products per year.

"The flour mill project is part of the implementation of state programs to support agriculture, including the Digital Kazakhstan program," said project manager Rashid Otarov.

He noted that the mill is using modern Italian equipment, the management process is fully automated and the production can be controlled using a tablet.

The mill was built on the territory of the Daulet private industrial zone. The main activity of the enterprise is processing of grain to produce flour of the highest and first grade, intended for baking bread and pasta. It is also planned to produce semolina and bran.

Grain for production is purchased from Northern Kazakhstan. The products will cover the needs of the country’s western regions. In the future, it is planned to export products to the CIS and Asian countries.

The purpose of the mill is helping to achieve a 100 percent content of Kazakh products in the food and light industry, as well as increasing domestic commodity production.
