Uzbekistan produced 213,280 cars in 2018, which is 57.4 percent higher compared with the same period of 2017, Trend reports via UzDaily.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the manufacture of trucks increased to 4,230 or 12 percent in the reporting period.
Meanwhile, the production of buses decreased to 10.2 percent or 949 buses compared to the same period in 2017.
The manufacture of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in 2018 amounted to 158,750 units which is 73.3 percent higher than in 2017.
However the highlight of the year was the production of tractors that amounted to 3,390, which is 3.4 times more in comparison with 2017.
