Turkey increases export of goods to Qatar

The export of Turkish goods to Qatar increased by 62 percent and reached $1.18 billion in 2018 compared to 2017, Trend reports referring to the Aegean Exporters Associations (EİB).

Presently, Qatar ranks 37th in the list of the countries to which Turkey exports its goods.

In 2018, chemical products in the amount of $117 million and building materials in the amount of $100 million were exported to Qatar from Turkey.

Presently, Qatar ranks 19th among the countries that have made direct investments in the Turkish economy.

Foreign investments in the Turkish economy reach $4.108 billion. Qatar's investments in the Turkish economy reach $541 million.

About 68 percent of foreign direct investments in the Turkish economy accounts for European countries. Spain ranks first among European countries that have made direct investments in the Turkish economy.
