Exports from Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan up 130%

Exports from the Sistan and Baluchestan Province of Iran increased 130 percent during the 10 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018) as compared to the same period last year, said Nader Mirshekar, head of the Sistan and Baluchestan Industry, Mines and Trade Organization, Trend reports citing the Organization's website.

Mirshekar added that 1.28 million tons of products worth $733 million were exported within 10 months.

“Products worth $189 million and $543 million were exported through the province’s customs points and border markets, respectively, in the past 10 months,” he said.

As Mirshekar remarked, within 10 months, Sistan and Baluchestan mainly exported construction materials, dates, gas, sulfur and ceramic products to Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE and other countries.
