Kyzylorda region is a leader in attracting investments among the regions of Kazakhstan, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

"Also, a significant increase in investment is seen in the Karaganda, Akmola, Turkistan and Kostanay regions," National Economy Minister Timur Suleimenov said at a government meeting.

At the same time, three regions showed significant decline in investment in fixed assets.

"Karaganda, Kyzylorda, North Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Mangystau and Akmola regions showed negative dynamics in industry. In these regions, production of oil, gas condensate, uranium ore, flat products and freight cars has decreased," Suleimenov said.

At the same time, high growth in industry is observed in the East Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Kostanay regions and Astana.

Also, all regions, except Atyrau, showed growth in agriculture.

Six regions have negative dynamics in construction. These are Astana, Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Mangystau and West Kazakhstan regions, according to Suleimenov.
