Russian VEB Bank intends to finance the supply of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Russia, and documents may be signed in the near future, Trend reports with reference to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The ministry states a delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister of Agriculture Jamshid Khojaev, visited Russia, where it held talks on increasing the supply of vegetables and fruits to the Russian Federation.
"During the dialogue with Chairman of VEB Igor Shuvalov, the Russian side announced its readiness to consider financing the supply of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Russia," the ministry noted.
In the near future, relevant documents will be developed for their further signing and launching the joint work.
