In Turkey, the volume of air cargo increased by 4.4 percent in March 2019, compared to March 2018, and reached 815,900 tons, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
In March 2019, 190,600 tons of cargo were transported by internal flights, and 625,300 tons by international ones.
In March 2019, domestic freight traffic decreased by 8.18 percent compared to the same month of 2018. However, freight traffic by international flights increased by 8.9 percent compared to March 2018.
The freight traffic at the three main airports of Turkey (Sabiha Gokcen , Esenboga and Antalya) was 412,700 tons in March 2019.
