Agronaft, an Azerbaijani company selling agricultural equipment, has purchased equipment of foreign production in the amount of one million euros, the company's financial manager Zaur Rashidov told Trend.
Rashidov noted that the company is engaged in the purchase of agricultural machinery intended for use in greenhouses, as well as in manufacturing in the processing industry, acquiring it mainly on the Turkish market.
"So far, we have sold agricultural equipment worth 400,000 euros. All the equipment was purchased last year, and we managed to sell the purchased goods in the amount of 400,000 euros within seven months. In general, sales of agricultural equipment are going quite well. There is a steady demand in this market segment," Rashidov said.
He further noted that the company sells through the Agency for Agricultural Loans and Development under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, which provides state funding.
He company receives a 100 percent profit by selling the purchased goods under the current circumstances, he added.
