Since the beginning of this year, the sales volume of the "Belaruski" company operating in Azerbaijan has increased by 20 percent, the company spokesman Rahim Abdullayev told Trend May 21.
He said that Belarusian-made products are in significant demand in the Azerbaijani market.
“The company’s meat and sausage products are in the greatest demand,” he noted. “Our company delivers Belarusian-made products to the local market of Azerbaijan and sells them mainly in Baku. The sales are carried out on the basis of a contract concluded in 2016 with several manufacturing enterprises located in Belarus, as well as with the Belarusian plant “Belalko”. We import a wide range of dairy, meat, alcohol, as well as various types of grocery products.”
He noted that the future plans of the company include expanding the variety of products imported from Belarus to Azerbaijan.
“Until the end of the year, we plan to mainly expand the variety of dairy products,” he added.
