The US company Infinecom LLC will supply personal video recorders and data storage equipment to Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
“The supplied body-cameras record and decentrally store audio and video content with subsequent playback and send an alarm signal to the central dispatch service in case of emergency. The dispatcher will also be able to monitor the location of mobile squads, access to camera signal in real time and track the performance of the employees,’ reads the message.
Initially, 15 Uzbek and foreign companies offered their proposals for the supply of equipment to the ministry.
At the second stage, six manufacturers were selected including Anico Kft, Infinecom LLC, SecureHouse, PolyTechnologies, Des Ltd, and Uzelektroapparat-Electroshield. Their body-cameras were tested in the field.
Infinecom LLC was established in December 2011. Headquartered in Collierville, Tennessee, it has offices in Singapore and Uzbekistan.
