Turkmenistan increases cultivation of Dutch roses

Nurly Meydan company, the largest supplier of Dutch roses in the Turkmen market, plans to supply about one million roses to consumers annually, Trend reports citing Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

This year, about 600,000 rose varieties were grown in the floriculture farm located in the Bereket district of Balkan province and sold via brand stores of the producer.

Currently, another greenhouse is being built with an area of ​​11,000 square meters.

The rosary will be equipped with automated plant care systems - an installation for cooling the greenhouse, equipment for preparing and supplying solutions to feed flowers, irrigate them, and also to maintain the optimal temperature, lighting and humidity conditions.

The first batch of flowers from the new greenhouse to the country's markets will be sent as early as May 2020, the report said.
