Shahrekord Cement Industries Company exported $9 million worth of products from the Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari province in southwestern Iran, in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), Hassan Rezai Managing Director of Iran's Shahrekord Cement Industries Company, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to Rezai, the company exported 507,000 tons of clinker last Iranian year.
Rezai added that the company's clinker was exported mainly to countries around the Persian Gulf and including the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
The official said that it is already possible to receive orders from other countries of the Persian Gulf.
"The company can produce 1 million tons of clinker a year and produces 7 types of clinker," he said.
Shahrekord Cement Industries Company is located 35 kilometers from the center of Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari province of Iran and the company employs 400 people.
