Customs revenues of Iran's Kermanshah province increases

The customs revenues of the Kermanshah province in western Iran increased by 149 percent in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), said Director General of the Customs Administration of the province Khalil Heydari, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration

According to Heydari, customs revenues of the Iran's Kermanshah province amounted to 750.6 billion rials (about $17.8 million) in the last Iranian year.

Heydari added that about 33,200 tons of products worth $73.3 million were imported through the province's customs last Iranian year and imports increased by 99 percent.

The official said that as many as 24,900 tons worth $42.2 million from Iraq, 1,400 tons worth $10.8 million from China and from South Korea 284 tons of product worth $6.4 million were imported.

"Imported products were mainly car spare parts, pumps, tires for buses and trucks, equipment, etc.," he said.

According to official, more than 5.6 million tons of products worth $2.2 billion were exported through the customs of Kermanshah province in the last year. Exports decreased by about 24 percent in terms of value, compared to the year before last but there was no significant change in term of weight.
