ABB looking to expand within contract with BP in Azerbaijan

Swiss ABB company is looking to expand within the existing contract with BP in Azerbaijan, the company told Trend.

“We have an ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety System) service Contract with BP to provide below services: 1) Healthcare services for 6 offshore and 6 midstream assets; 2) Remote support from ARMOR (ABB Remote Monitoring and Operations Room) for 6 offshore assets; 3) Delivery of ICSS software modifications projects; 4) Digital security; 5) Drilling Drives; 6) Spares Management,” said ABB.

The company said its history in Azerbaijan has been tightly aligned with the oil and gas industry. “We work closely with SOCAR.”
