Goycay-Sud, a big enterprise producing dairy products located in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district, has greatly increased the production volumes of milk and dairy products since the beginning of this year, a source in the enterprise told Trend.
“This indicator increased by 40 percent year on year,” the source said. “The enterprise started to produce 100 tons of milk during the last two months of this year.”
“Moreover, milk production volumes reached 180 tons from January through March 2020,” the source said. “During the reporting period, cheese production also increased.”
So, 25 tons of cheese were produced at the enterprise from January through March 2020 and this figure greatly increased from January through June 2020.
The monthly production of cheese reached over 20 tons of products from April through June. The production volumes of these products increased as a result of opening of a new cheese production workshop.
Besides milk and cheese, the enterprise also produces small volumes of butter. Approximately 1 ton of butter is produced monthly.
The dairy products are sold on the domestic market, fully cover the demand of the population in Goychay and are also supplied to Baku and other cities of the country.
The enterprise has been provided with modern Swedish and Italian equipment.
The products of the enterprise have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
