An online business meeting on cooperation prospects was held between the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Tajikistan's TajInvest company, Trend reports with reference to AZPROMO.
Acting President of the AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev spoke about the activities of the structure he represents and noted the favorable business and investment environment created in the country. He touched on promoting the Made in Azerbaijan brand and the ongoing work to promote and expand sales of Azerbaijani products in foreign markets.
Director-General of the TajInvest Faizullozoda Khurshed Mirzo stressed the importance of establishing ties between the two structures and informed about work carried out in this area.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), of which both AZPROMO and TajInvest are members.
AZPROMO holds status of WAIPA's regional director for Central Asia.
