Kazakhstan’s Vetal Kazakhstan JSC and Turkish Vetal Animal Health Products LTD signed a memorandum of understanding for joint production of veterinary vaccines, serums and other biological products, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
The memorandum was signed within the framework of the visit of Kazakhstan’s Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov to Turkey where he visited plant of the Vеtal Animal Health Products LTD.
During the visit Omarov got acquainted with the process of the company’s operations following which the mentioned above memorandum was signed. The memorandum oversees implementation of an investment project for creation of the production in Turkestan region in 2021.
The overall project implementation cost will amount to $60 million. The first stage of the project implementation provides for construction of a plant for production of veterinary drugs and vaccines for the treatment and prevention of diseases of farm animals worth $7 million. In the future plant’s capacities are to be expanded.
