Kazakhstan’s Industrial Zone Almaty talks about new projects for 2021

It is planned to soon launch five more projects on the territory of Kazakhstan’s Industrial Zone Almaty (ISA) LLP for a total of 16.8 billion tenge ($40 million), the industrial zone told Trend.

Thus, it plans to launch a plant for the production of heat and gas blocks for autoclave hardening of SK Rakhat LLP, a plant for the production of medium-voltage switchgear of Technokont LLP, a plant for the production of aluminum and bimetallic heating radiators of Valtherm LLP, the second stage of a plant for the production of cable - conductor products of KMK Investment LLP and a plant for the production of autoclaved cellular aerated concrete GSG Vysotnik LLP.

Also, to date, 13 projects have been implemented in the Industrial Zone Almaty for a total investment of 63.5 billion tenge ($148.8 million), with the creation of 1,559 jobs, taxes paid for 2.7 billion tenge ($6.4 million), said the ISA.

“The following large-scale enterprises are among the implemented projects of ISA: the production of cars, equipment for heat and water supply, engineering security systems, cable products, polymer products, architectural facades, cartridges for office equipment, adhesive tape. There is a greenhouse with a capacity of more than 7,000 tons of vegetables per year, a meat processing plant with a capacity of 3,500 tons of products per year,” the Kazakh industrial zone noted.

This year, 32 new projects were also attracted to the Industrial Zone Almaty, which is twice more than previous indicators, said the ISA.

Currently, 53 companies are residents of the ISA, with projects for 200 billion tenge ($476.1 million), of which 15 projects with foreign participation (China, Russia, Japan, Iran, the UAE, Germany, South Korea, Turkey), with the creation of 6,500 jobs, the industrial zone said.
