Turkmen Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations increased the volume of trade turnover by 19.7 percent and production by 11.8 percent in 1H2021, compared to 1H2020, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The volume of products manufactured by enterprises of Turkmen Ministry of Textile Industry in the reporting period, including cotton yarn and fabrics, increased by 12.4 and 2.3 percent, respectively, sewing and knitting products – 23.4 percent, leather– 3.6 percent.
The production plan for the Türkmenhaly State Association of Turkmenistan has been exceeded by 13 percent also in 1H2021.
The growth of work completed by Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry amounted to 8.9 percent in 1H2021.
The growth in the production of agricultural and food products of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan reached 36.3 percent, industrial – 19 percent in 1H2021.
The rate of trade turnover of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan increased by 9.1 percent, and production – 9.2 percent from January through May 2021, compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the volume of products manufactured by enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of the country, including cotton yarn and fabrics, increased by 12.4 and 1 percent, respectively, clothing and knitwear by 24.1 percent, leather products - 0.6 percent.
