Turkmenistan's non-food sector now has over 700 enterprises, Trend reported, citing the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Building materials, reinforced concrete, and concrete products, irrigation trays, wells, curbs, floor slabs, gypsum and gypsum binders of various textures, and detergents are the main products manufactured by entrepreneurs.
Products manufactured vary from textiles, footwear, building materials, metal structures, and furniture. Among them, enterprises that manufacture plastic products stand out, and 99 percent of them use locally sourced raw materials.
These enterprises and workshops assortments replace imported building materials, textiles, mineral products, household chemicals, and furniture.
