BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 349,510 kg over the period from January through April 2022, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 89,293 kg in April 2022, which is 6.2 percent more than in April 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 13.7 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 38,664 kg (9,931 kg in April 2022, an increase of 5.7 percent compared to April 2021).
Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 550,908 tons during the reporting period, which indicates an increase of 6.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 145,420 tons in April 2022, which is 5.3 percent more than in April 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 37,680 tons over the reporting period, which is 4.1 percent less than during the same period of 2021. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in April 2022 was 9,576 tons, which is 12.5 percent less than in April 2021.
Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 99,360 tons, which is 4.7 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (25,243 tons in April 2022, down by 2.5 percent compared to April 2021).
As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 164,662 tons, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (42,120 tons in April 2022, which is 2.6 percent more than in April 2021).
Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 13,878 tons, which is 35.5 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (2,971 tons in April 2022, down by 7 percent compared to April 2021).
