Iran's export to Iraq increases

TEHRAN, Iran, June 22. Iran's export to Iraq has been on the rise in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022), Vice President of Iran and Iraq Chamber of Commerce Hamed Hosseini told Trend.

He pointed out that Iran's export to Iraq was down to $540 million in the first month of the current Iranian year due to the Nowruz holiday, tariffs on export of goods such as steel, and increasing price of Iranian commodities.

He went on to say that the country's exports to Iraq slightly increased to $840 million in the second month of the current year and make up for the losses in March.

The statistics from the third month of the year indicate Iran's export volume was more than in previous months, reaching about 40,000 tons of goods per day.
