An international conference on �Privatization and its impact on capital markets’ was held in Baku on 11 October.
Organized by the Baku Stock Exchange (BSEX) and the Federation of Exchanges of the Eurasian Funds (FEUF) the forum is dedicated to the 5th year anniversary of the BSEX. The key objective of the event is to get familiar with the international experience in the sphere
of privatization, research into common problems of the region and acquainting the investors with the terms of he capital market and its opportunities.
Attending the forum will be representatives from the governments, leadership of the FEUF, leading economists of the number exchanges of the region, financial bodies, investment companies, consulting and research centers, as well as the World Bank.
The FEUF was founded in Istanbul on 16 May 1995 and unites 28 exchanges from 26 countries. The BSEX and the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange represent Azerbaijan in this alliance.
