Sitting of the Azerbaijan Association of leasing companies dedicated to the results of the activities in 2005, has been delayed for 9 February, the Association told Trend. It was to be held on 3 February. The reason for postponement is related to the forthcoming participation in the sitting of the Canadian government consultant on the Non-governmental organizations (NGO) development in the business field, Lowrence Camming.
The guest is currently in Baku, he is getting familiar with the situation in the countrys leasing market. He has been invited by the leasing association and will assist it in the issues of the institutional building, in particular, in developing of normative documents, in interrelations between the companies, of the Association with its members, civilized lobbying of the Associations interests at the state level and etc.
His address will be heard at the sitting and the issue of a new member entry will be looked into. The Associations new member will be Bank of Baku, where the department for performing leasing operations has been set up. Taking into consideration this bank, the leasing Association will number 12 members.
