The Azerdemiryolbank Joint Stock Commercial bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) signed memorandum on intentions within the project of the leasing development in Azerbaijan. The accord on providing technical assistance to the bank to enhance the staff operational quality in the leasing field, preparing the leasing policy and procedures, business-plan for leasing operations, developing relevant computer programs, the marketing strategy and other issues has been recahed, Trend reports, citing the projects press -release.
Three years ago IFC launched implementation of the technical assistance project for the leasing activities development. It is funded by the State Secretariat of Switzerland on economic issues (Seco), which allocated $2 million for these purposes.
