Iran is expected to participate in the Caspian bio-resources audit together with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia

The Supreme Financial Control bodies- Audit Chambers (AC) of Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan are expected to check the Caspian marine bio-resources usage effectiveness and means of sturgeon populations protection. The given plan was included into the 2006 agenda of the State body to be discussed together with Russian and Kazakh colleagues, Azerbaijani AC told Trend.

Possibly our Iranian colleagues will join the audit, the AC stated.

Dates and the conditions of the audit will be discussed at the international conference, dedicated to the 10th year anniversary of the creation of Kazakh Audit Chamber on April 21-22. AC chairman, Namik Nasrullayev will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting.

According to the Russian Audit Chamber, more than 40 similar audit checking were conducted in the last 4 years. Besides financial audit they have included nature protection measures effectiveness analyses, creation of the legislature modification measures and expansion of the environment protection measures effectiveness.
