Within the first half-year of 2006, the capital of banks has increased by 21.9% and reached AZN 473.49 mln. As comprised with the same period of 2005, the growth is reported at 49.2%, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan National Bank (ANB).
According to the schedule confirmed by the board of ANB, the normative requirements for the joint capital of bank was defined for July 1, 2006 and may not be less than AZN 6.4 mln, January 1, 2007 AZN 8.2 mln, and July 1, 2007 AZN 10 mln.
