From 5 to 31 July, the State Road Police Department of Azerbaijan held a monthly security measure under motto High speed and drunken drivers impose danger for road movement.
In result of the measures, 702 drivers managing the cars after receiving alcoholic drinks and narcotic substances were instituted to the proceedings, Vagif Asadov, the chief of the public relations department of the Baku State Road Police Department, told Trend.
Within this period, there were revealed 305 facts of using loud signals and signals of high tone, 5939 facts of using curtains, 4557 facts of increasing the speed and 187 facts of not following the legal requirements of police.
