Russia was the major customer of Kazakhstan grain in the reporting period - 1,63 mln. tons. Azerbaijan imported 470,1 thousand tons of corn from Kazakhstan, Estonia - 247,2 thousand tons, India - 222,2 thousand tons, Turkey - 221,6 thousand tons, Kygyzia - 214,1 thousand tons, Ukraine - 209,5 thousand tons, Tajikistan - 205,4 thousand tons, etc. Azerbaijan produced over 2 mln. tons (including maize) in 2006 in total. Azerbaijan needs 3,4 mln. tons annually.
