Trend.Capital U.Ismaylova / The Chairman of the Executive Committee of State Capital Bank of Azerbaijan, Rauf Rzayev, said on 11 May that while investing in the deposits put into AzSSR Cberbank, the Bank faces serious problems due to lack of information on the deposits of inhabitants residing in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh during the power of the former Soviet Union.
According to the decree by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, a State Commission was established by the Primer Minister, Artur Rasizade, to calculate deposits put into the Azerbaijani department of USSR Sberbank as of 1 January 1992. Rzayev stressed that the funds will be repaid to those who have deposited 2-3.000 rubles. The gross amount of the deposits totals 4.8 bln former Soviet rubles. The repayment for 1000 rubles will amount to $111.
