Trend S.Agayeva / The Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Nikolai Paskevich, said on 14 May that an exhibition of the national commodities of Azerbaijan will be organized in Minsk in the near future. The Embassy of Azerbaijan is already working on this issue, the diplomat said. The event will be in response to the exhibition of national commodities of Belarus held on 2-3 May in Baku.
According to the Ambassador, a pilot consignment of Belarusian commodities, including meat, dairy and confectionery products, will be imported to Azerbaijan in the near future. "We trust in the positive response of Azerbaijani consumers," the Ambassador said. According to the Belarusian diplomat, both countries have assumed the task to increase the amount of the trade turnover up to $500.000.
" Azerbaijan and Belarus should work out the transport route, liquidate certain information vacuums, and organize business tours," the Ambassador said. According to him, serious work is carried out to attract Belarusian companies, involved in the whole purchase of agricultural products, into Azerbaijan.
