Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / The leasing portfolio of "UniLeasing" Joint-Stock Company on four regional divisions of the republic has exceeded AZN 1 mn.
The lease portfolio of UniLeasing covering the provinces of the country totaled AZN 1,2 mln on 1 July 2007 representing an increase of 26% from AZN 13 mln that was equaled at the beginning of the second quarter of the year.
The regional branches of UniLeasing secured as many as 22 contracts in the second quarter of this year; the total cost of the items leased exceeded AZN 1,7 mln.
The construction sector still dominates the "provincial" portfolio of the Company and accounts for 46.1%, while the transport sector accounts for 33.9%, real estate 8.6%, manufacturing equipment 3.3% and medical equipment 4.5%.
UniLeasing is keen to continue its activities to extend to the regions.
