Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / In the first half of the year, 104 accidents took place in production and manufacturing, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan reports.
As a result of the 104 accidents, thirty-nine people died and seventy-six suffered from injuries ranging from minor to critical. Nearly sixty-four accidents took place in Baku.
The observations showed that thirteen accidents took place at the fault of the companies, twenty-four accidents resulted from workers' carelessness, and fifty-five accidents were the result of both factors contributing.
