Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 January / Trend / In 2007, Baku-based oil refineries, part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) - the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (formerly Azerneftyanacag), and Azerneftyag refined 7,504,200 tons of oil. Production of oil products increased by 7.3% compared to 2006.
According to the State Statistics Committee, production of motor-petrol grew by 8.3%, kerosene by 7.5%, oil bitumen by 13.%, and naphtha by 82.3% as compared to 2006. Production of lubricants decreased.
