Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 April /corr. Trend E.Ismaylov / Oil and Gas Construction Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) commenced constructing an underwater gas pipeline on Guneshli field, SOCAR reported.
This pipeline, being constructed within the own gas production increase program of the SOCAR, will connect Guneshli-13 and Guneshli-14 platforms.
The pipeline will transport gas from platform 13 to platform 14. The 12-inch pipeline is 2.4km in length. In future, the pipeline will be connected to the main gas pipeline going to the shore.
At present, the daily gas production in Guneshli-13 platform equals 1mln cu.m of gas. New well are being drilled in the platform.
