Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 August / Trend corr. S.Aliyev/ In August 2008, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will dispatch 83,000 tons of oil from the Novorossiysk port, which is shipped to the port by the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, a source at the market said.
A total of 3.5mln tons of oil will be dispatched from Novorossiysk in August.
SOCAR transports oil, which it produced from its 57 fields (39 onshore and 18 offshore), via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipe. The pipe also exports the oil of joint ventures and operating companies engaged in onshore oil production in Azerbaijan.
