In January-June 2009, the Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev (former Azneftyanajag) of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijani Republic) produced 25,610 tons of oil coke as compared to 78,000 tons of the same period in 2008, SOCAR said.
In June, SOCAR produced 1,780 tons of oil coke.
The Baku refinery produced 168,930 oil coke in 2008, 84,740 - in 2007 and 67,240 - in 2006.
The refinery did not produce oil coke in 2005.
