Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (Nov. 23-30)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,209 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (Nov. 16-23). The price is 10 euro less the average for the previous week (Nov. 23-30).

Statistic data on petrol prices are posted at European Commission official website.

The highest price - 1,395 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. The price decreased by 3 euro compared to the previous week.

The lowest price was 906 euro per 1,000 liters with a 3-euro increase in Romania.

Denmark took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,339 euro per 1,000 liters or compared to 1,349 for the previous week.

Finland took the third place last week with prices hitting 1,337 euro per 1,000 liters which is less by 7 euro than the previous week.

Germany took fourth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,297 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,317 euro the previous week.

Portugal took the fifth place last week. The price was 1,294 euro per 1,000 liters or 5 euro more the previous week.

Belgium ranked the sixth for the most expensive petrol. Last week the price was 1,290 euro per 1,000 liters with a 34-euro increase in Belgium.

Prices hit 1,281 euro compared to 1,288 euro per 1,000 liters in Italy the previous week.

The price hit 1,257 euro per 1,000 liters in France last week or 9 euro less than last week. 

The price was 1,193 euro per 1,000 liters in the UK last week or 14 euro per 1,000 liters less than a week earlier.

Malta held the tenth place among European countries with the highest petrol price last week. The price hit 1,190 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,180 last week.
